Xander is a stunning, purebred German Shepherd with a strikingly soft black and tan coat. Originally trained as an emotional support animal, he has an incredible foundation of socialization and basic commands (sit, stay, down, and kennel).
Xander is exceptionally polite. When meeting new people of any age, he doesn't bark or jump; instead, he gently sniffs, says hello, and then happily returns to lounging or playing. He has an excellent track record with other dogs, having successfully lived with an English Mastiff for several years, as well as his current German Shepherd housemate, Ruby.
Xander is highly adaptable and will thrive with a single person or a larger family. Because he loves to run and play, he is looking for a home with a fenced yard where he can burn off some energy, alongside a family dedicated to giving him a good amount of daily exercise.
