Foxy Lady (aka Maribel at the shelter) just arrived. This gentle and petite little girl is the sweetest girl. With an expressive face that looks like a fox, this girl will melt your heart. She loves to give kisses and is looking for affection and friendship.

Originally brought in as a stray to Newark Shelter, it appears that Foxy may have had a litter of puppies in the recent past. She can be skittish of loud sounds. Foxy is only about 40 pounds, which is small for a shepherd. She is comfortable around well mannered dogs. She doesn’t like to get too rowdy with dogs.

Based on her sweet and gentle disposition, we know that Foxy won’t be with us for very long. So if you are looking for shepherd on the smaller side with a huge heart then consider adopting Foxy.
