Maya is loving, and affectionate German Shepherd looking for her new forever home. With her big floppy ears, Maya exudes a sweet enduring charm. She has lived with dogs most of her life and spent time around teenagers. When meeting new people, Maya is at first shy. She will come over and sniff and soon want to play or go for a walk. When she was a little over a year old, Maya spent 4 weeks in a training program. She is smart and knows all of her commands. Maya could use a little refresher on walks.

Although currently in our owner referral program, Maya will be entering our program by May 1st. Her original owner dumped her and her sister on a friend and never came back. Maya’s current caretaker has done her best to help find a home for Maya, but has 4 other dogs and needs to move. Maya will do well in a home with either a friendly, easy going dog, or by herself. Maya is healthy and spayed. She is ready to find stability in a new forever home.
