Meet Kaida, whose motto is Semper Fi. Why? Because even though she was abandoned and left tied up to a tree in the big city, a soon to be US Marine found her, took her in and restored her faith in humanity. Kaida’s protector searched for her original owner to no avail. To top things off, when he asked the local shelter for help they told him, since he had her for more than 48 hours she wasn’t a stray and they couldn’t take her in. Well at Sedona, we say &!*%& to that!

Kaida is now part of our owner referral program and ready to set sail to her new forever home. Kaida is healthy, up to date on all her shots and very friendly. She even enjoys spending time with a dachsund. While in her current home, Kaida has been around children, easily spends time in a crate when no one is home, and is super affectionate to her foster family. Kaida is about 2 years old and seems to have a little bit of husky in her.

We are hoping to find a home for Kaida before April 20th, when her foster dad heads off to Paris Island, to minimize her moving around. However, not to worry, because Sedona will be there to take her into our foster program if need be. Kaida is also eligible for our foster to adopt program.
