Don’t let his age fool you, Granger remains a cool and agile companion, enjoying outdoor adventures, especially hiking, which keeps him energized and happy. When not outdoors, Grainger lives peacefully with a cat. He easily makes close connections with humans and is happy to just curl up by your feet and chill out. Grainger is well trained, will focus on his handler for cues and guidance and never makes a mess in his home.

His current owner is looking for someone who will open up their home to Grainger. His steady temperament makes him an ideal dog for someone who appreciates both an active lifestyle and a devoted friend at their side. When outside or inside, Grainger loves to fetch and is easily entertained with chew toys. Although at times he can be a little chippy when seeing a dog across the street, with a mild correction, Grainger is on his way. Grainger has gone for pack walks with other mellow and easy going German Shepherds.
