Van - Pending

A Friendly, Affectionate, Fun, Sweet Adult German Shepherd

Fun, lovable, social and ready to make new friends. These are some of the adjectives to describe Van, a 6 year-old female German Shepherd. This girl has some of the cutest photos of all the dogs in our program. She can be silly when playing in a baby pool filled with water, and affectionate when hanging out with her human friends in a house. This little love bug will bond quickly with any new adopter.

Van’s original owner passed away and she was being kept outside in a nearby lot before neighbors brought her to the Philadelphia shelter. We couldn’t turn our back on this cutie. She had quite an adventure the first few weeks after she arrived. Since her little “outing”, Van has decided it’s best to stick around and continue to enjoy our company.

Her many different expressions keep all of us smiling. Van has spent time in a foster home with two other German Shepherds and enjoyed playing with dogs as well as a little rough-housing. She has a new best friend with Stryker, another Sedona dog available for adoption. She seems to prefer dogs that are respectful and slowly introduce themselves to her. Van is healthy, current on all her vaccinations and spayed.

If you are interested in finding out more about Van, please email us at contact@sedonashepherd.com. Although not required, preference will be given to owners with a fenced in yard. Based on his activity level and temperament we feel she could live in a home with older children. If you are interested, please fill out an adoption application.
